City Park is the largest and most notable park in the Denver area, and is conveniently located within two miles of Downtown. Some of the most beautiful views of the Denver skyline and the Rocky Mountains can be seen from this oasis in the city. Residents enjoy multiple activities, including tennis, basketball, soccer, golf at the adjacent City Park Golf Course, or picnicking in the meadows. City Park is also home to the Denver Zoo and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The neighborhood considered City Park is bordered by Colfax, Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., York St. and Colorado, with the park itself sitting in the middle.
